Pokemon Go announces Unova Tour Pass

A new Tour Pass is set to launch all Pokemon Go players on February 24. It enhances the excitement of the beloved Pokemon GO Tour, which this year highlights the Unova region

This event will feature wild encounters, raids as well as egg spawns themed around Generation 5. The Pokemon GO Tour is an annual celebration that takes place on the Pokemon Day. This event is held in a different region each year.

The first event took place in 2021, when nine shiny Pokemon were introduced that had never been seen before. The introduced Pokemon included Mew and Ditto. Last year’s event focused on Sinnoh, displaying unique Pikachu variants adorned with special accessories, along with the Origin Formes of Dialga and Palkia.

Looking forward to the Pokemon GO Tour 2025, Niantic has revealed that the new Tour Pass will be available from February 24 at 10 am until March 2 at 6 pm local time.

This pass will be free for all players who can level it up by earning Tour Points through daily tasks, completing raids, catching Pokemon and hatching eggs. As trainers progress, they will achieve Minor and Major milestones, earning rewards like candy and stickers.

The ultimate reward for reaching the final milestone is a meet-up with a Zorua in a unique background. Players should remember that all rewards will expire on March 9 at 6 pm; hence, it is essential to claim them before they vanish.

In addition to the free Tour Pass, a deluxe version will be offered for $14.99 on the Pokemon Go Webstore from February 24 at 10 am until March 2 at 6 pm. This premium pass allows trainers access to all rewards from both the free and paid tracks, an encounter with the Mythical Pokemon Victini, and a new item known as the Lucky Trinket.

This special item allows the players to turn a friend from their list into a Lucky Friend ensuring that the next trade results in a Lucky Pokemon.
