The players first need to craft the Ice Staff Wonder Weapon to unlock the main story easter egg in the Tomb for Black Ops 6 Zombies. After a decade-long wait, the new BO6 Zombies map, The Tomb, reintroduces the legendary Ice Staff Wonder Weapon. This powerful tool not only slows down foes but also freezes them in their tracks.
Once immobilized, a follow-up blast from the Ice Staff can eliminate them or the players can swiftly finish them off with their secondary weapon. When upgraded, Ull’s Arrow boosts the range and area of effect of the Ice Staff.
Getting this weapon is important to complete the main story easter egg in the Tomb. In Round 8, a Shock Mimic will appear and if the players defeat it, it will drop a Monocle.
Players will need to shoot the purple lanterns that are scattered throughout the map, one by one, directing them towards either the Tombs or Neolithic Catacombs. This will unveil symbols that are similar to Roman numerals in those areas (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X).
In the tombs, players need to locate the mural featuring a bull and shoot the symbols in the correct numerical sequence to form the Taurus constellation. Successfully doing this will initiate a lockdown event which is filled with waves of enemies.
At the end, a Staff part will appear. A second puzzle can also be found on the bull mural wall in the side room. Completing this lockdown event will allow players to access the Ice Staff head.
To finish it, users need to return to the Dark Aether Nexus to finalize the Ice Staff. They need to head to the center of the altar atop the mound and then interact with it. Once they succeed, the Ice Staff will be ready for them to collect.
